TO FIND AMERICA’S FAVORITE MOM

Local Florist Encourage Community to Nominate Mom
For NBC Mother’s Day Television Special

Indianapolis-March 28th 2008 Steve’s Flowers and Gifts announced today that it will join thousands of Teleflora member florists in a nationwide search for “America’s Favorite Mom.” To drive nominations for this national competition, Steve’s Flowers and Gifts is running in-store promotions, advertising in their Mother’s Day mailer, and distributing nomination sheets throughout the Indianapolis area. In honor of the 100th anniversary of Mother’s Day, Teleflora created a new reality television series and partnered with NBC to find “America’s Favorite Mom.” Teleflora and NBC are looking for inspirational mothers from all walks of life in five categories: single moms, working moms, stay-at-home moms, unconventional moms and military moms who may be serving overseas or holding down the home front for those who are serving our country.

Now through April 30, Steve’s Flowers and Gifts is proud to represent Indianapolis residents, and encourage everyone to visit AmericasFavoriteMom.com to nominate their mothers for this prestigious award. As part of the interactive experience, residents also can vote for their favorite mom and win exclusive online prizes.

The top 15 nominees from the five categories will appear on NBC’s highly-rated “Today” show and viewers will have the chance to vote for their favorite mom at the end of each show. The winning mom from each category will be featured on “Teleflora Presents America’s Favorite Mom,” a grand finale, NBC television special airing on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2008. The show will include guest appearances from a number of celebrity moms as well as the stories of famous mothers who have made history.

As an extension to the America’s Favorite Mom search, an exclusive Teleflora “America’s Favorite Mom” bouquet has been designed for Mother’s Day. As with all of Teleflora’s bouquets, this unique bouquet will be hand-arranged and hand-delivered by a local Teleflora florist so moms everywhere can feel like “America’s Favorite Mom” on their special day.
